Well we were superlatively thrilled when Vic asked us to shoot Turner's and her wedding. At the time, Vic was a coordinator for the incomparable Sweet Pea Events here in Dallas, so even to be on her short list of photographers was an honor! And as we got to know these two a bit more, we basically fell in couple-love with them and want to be their best friends. They are truly wonderful people from their cores - thoughtful and fun, humble and tremendously kind. But I think my favorite thing about them is how much they laugh together, as in open-mouth, squinty-eyes laugh. It's pretty stinkin' adorable.

As one might expect from a seasoned coordinator turned bride, the wedding was BEAUTIFUL, thanks to Branching Out Events and their custom garden trellises. Yeah, custom...garden..trellises. This LOVELY bride's name is Shannon, and most Shannons rarely encounter other Shannons, especially on a day when both of the Shannons are being called by everybody in all directions. We definitely found ourselves in a few Night at the Roxbury, her? me? her? me? her? situations. Name shenanigans aside, this couple are truly endearing. Both reserved and taciturn, Shannon and Gabe preserve their emotive sentiments for glances and comfortable silences between one another.
