Well, this photographer-client relationship started with a case of the mutual beard love between Justin and Shaun. I mean, they do have magnificent beards, so I get it. But the mutual love between the Menarys and the Clarks only began there, and a year later, I still get a case of the happies when this bride's name pops up on my phone. We’re thrilled to share this wedding day with you, hoping these huge smiles make your day bright. Oh, and I’d like to draw your attention to two things: this couple’s shoes (sneaker game’s STRONG, y’all); and Justin’s text to Jessica that read, “Thank you for agreeing to marry my dumb ass.” Hehe! Aaaaaaaand we're back! If you care to do the math, our blog hiatus started on September 5, 2017, which is also the day that our labor started! Two days later (yep, TWO DAYS LATER), on September 7th, Levi George Menary came into the world (side note: if anybody wants to talk home birth, it's my new obsession)! These last six months have been all-Levi-all-day, and it's been magical. But now we're going to have college to pay for, so I figure it's time to get the blog rolling again. Plus, we missed YOU, friends!

We couldn't be happier that our first blog post back is Tenley and Ryan's Dallas wedding, as these two were the epitome of delight! If we've had gushier emails with any of our couples or their parents, detailing how much everybody loves everybody else and how happy everybody was to have been at the wedding, I can't remember it.

I'll prepare you for two things about these images: one, Tenley and Ryan both have the biggest and warmest smiles, so much so that you'll probably find yourself smiling the whole way through; and two, Tenley and her bridesmaids are trained dancers, so you'll encounter abounding amounts of mesmerizing calves and impressive posture.

Well we were superlatively thrilled when Vic asked us to shoot Turner's and her wedding. At the time, Vic was a coordinator for the incomparable Sweet Pea Events here in Dallas, so even to be on her short list of photographers was an honor! And as we got to know these two a bit more, we basically fell in couple-love with them and want to be their best friends. They are truly wonderful people from their cores - thoughtful and fun, humble and tremendously kind. But I think my favorite thing about them is how much they laugh together, as in open-mouth, squinty-eyes laugh. It's pretty stinkin' adorable.

As one might expect from a seasoned coordinator turned bride, the wedding was BEAUTIFUL, thanks to Branching Out Events and their custom garden trellises. Yeah, custom...garden..trellises.
