And The Award For Best Wedding Shoes Goes To The Clarks!

Well, this photographer-client relationship started with a case of the mutual beard love between Justin and Shaun. I mean, they do have magnificent beards, so I get it. But the mutual love between the Menarys and the Clarks only began there, and a year later, I still get a case of the happies when this bride's name pops up on my phone. We’re thrilled to share this wedding day with you, hoping these huge smiles make your day bright. Oh, and I’d like to draw your attention to two things: this couple’s shoes (sneaker game’s STRONG, y’all); and Justin’s text to Jessica that read, “Thank you for agreeing to marry my dumb ass.” Hehe! Do you love them yet?? You will.

Elizabeth ♥ Jake • A Classy Affair at the Fort Worth Modern

LOVE these two. And the only reason we got to photograph their wedding is because the badass who WOULD have photographed it is one of the groom’s best friends (Grant Daniels, anyone?). So we’ll take being the backup option if it means getting to photograph people like Elizabeth and Jake - these kind, warm souls who were simply delightful. Thanks for having us, Smiths! It was a scorching, sweaty day, and we LOVED IT. And thanks for setting them up with us, Grant. We’re all friends now, k? K.

LAUREN ♥ MATT • A Gem-Themed Reception at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science

Lollipop microphone. When you have the perfect combination a fully stocked candy table, a fantastic live band, and a bride and groom KILLIN' it up on the stage, the elusive lollipop microphone might appear. Thankfully, on this glorious night, at this sublime reception, Lauren blessed us with some rad lip syncing and a magnificent lollipop microphone.

We didn't have the pleasure of shooting their wedding, but we loved every minute of Lauren and Matt's local tea ceremony and Perot Museum reception. Enjoy!
